The Central Lancers football team (Philadelphia, PA), was beaten 36-14 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Bishop Shanahan Eagles (Downingtown, PA)
The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Downingtown East (Exton, PA). The Cougars come into the Ches-Mont - National challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Downingtown East achieved victory over Delaware Valley (Milford, PA), 28-20, in a non-league challenge.
The Lancers now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Martin Luther King for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 16. Central will meet a Cougars team coming off a 37-0 non-league loss to Wilson (West Lawn, PA). The Cougars record now stands at 1-2.
