The Skowhegan River Hawks (Skowhegan, ME) football routed the visiting Brewer Witches (Brewer, ME), 35-0 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the River Hawks face the Cony Rams (Augusta, ME) in a B North bout, on Friday, September 16. Skowhegan will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Rams enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 28-7 non-league win over Massabesic (Waterboro, ME).
The Witches (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Edward Little (Auburn, ME). The Red Eddies enter the non-league bout with a 1-3 record. In their last bout, Edward Little was crushed by Spaulding (Rochester, NH), 30-6, in a non-league bout.
