North Carolina High School Football - Highland Tech routed by Draughn

The Highland Tech Rams football team (Gastonia, NC), was ripped 62-6 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC)

The Wildcats (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Owen (Black Mountain, NC). The Warhorses come into the 1A/2A West Conference 42 challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Owen was ripped by North Henderson (Hendersonville, NC), 44-34, in a non-league challenge.

The Rams now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Burns for a 1A/2A West Conference 40 challenge on Friday, September 16. Highland Tech will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 48-28 non-league win over Watauga (Boone, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-1.
