Ohio High School Football - Field trounces Springfield

September 9, 2022: Mogadore, OH 44260

In Friday's league match, the host Field Falcons football squad scored a big 49-0 victory over the Springfield Spartans.

In their next game, the Falcons clash with the Cloverleaf Colts (Lodi, OH) in a Metro match, on Friday, September 16. Field will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Colts enter the match with a 3-1 record after their 42-17 league win over Ravenna (Ravenna, OH).

The Spartans (0-4) will now prepare for their match against Coventry (Akron, OH). The Comets enter the Metro match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Coventry was crushed by Woodridge (Peninsula, OH), 28-14, in a league match.
