Texas High School Football - Mt. Pleasant held off by Liberty-Eylau

In Friday's non-league game, the Liberty-Eylau Leopards (Texarkana, TX) football team tipped the host Mt. Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, TX), by a final score of 14-12.

The Leopards (3-0) will now prepare for their game against Atlanta (Atlanta, TX). The Rabbits come into the non-league game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, Atlanta got by New Boston (New Boston, TX), 34-8, in a non-league game.

The Tigers now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Emerson for a non-league game on Friday, September 16. Mt. Pleasant will battle a Mavericks team coming off a 50-28 non-league win over Panther Creek (Frisco, TX). The Mavericks record now stands at 3-0.
