The Cougars now hold a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Plattsburgh for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 13. Northeastern Clinton will meet a Hornets squad coming off a 13-0 non-league loss to Saranac (Saranac, NY). The Hornets record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Peru drops to 0-3 on the season. The Nighthawks host AuSable Valley (Clintonville, NY) to meet the Patriots in a Northern test on Tuesday, September 13. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 2-1. AuSable Valley won 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Immaculate Heart Central (Watertown, NY)
