The Jefferson Christian Academy Eagles held off the visiting Appalachian Eagles volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Friday's league test.

The Eagles now have a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ragland for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 13. Jefferson Christian Academy will confront a Purple Devils team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Westbrook Christian (Rainbow City, AL). The Purple Devils record now stands at 1-2.

The Eagles (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Victory Christian (Pell City, AL). The Lions enter the 1A Area 11 test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, Victory Christian was nudged by Jefferson Christian Academy (Birmingham, AL), 3-0, in a league test.
