The Hardin-Jefferson Hawks volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears to 0 in the Hawks non-league victory on Friday.

The Hawks now possess a 18-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Splendora for a non-league game on Saturday, September 10. Hardin-Jefferson will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Caney Creek (Conroe, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-14.

The Bears (5-12) will now prepare for their game against Silsbee (Silsbee, TX). The Tigers enter the 4A Region III District 19 game with a 7-13 record. In their last game, Silsbee was dropped by Hardin-Jefferson (Sour Lake, TX), 2-0, in a non-league game.
