The Hillsboro Eagles topped the visiting Venus Bulldogs volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Friday's league test.
The Eagles now have a 7-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Corsicana for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 13. Hillsboro will confront a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Ennis (Ennis, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 4-15.
The Bulldogs (0-11) will now prepare for their test against Kennedale (Kennedale, TX). The Wildcats enter the 4A Region II District 10 test with a 4-10 record.
