In Friday's league battle, the host Lake Balboa College Prep Cougars volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Ivy Academia Pumas.

The Cougars (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology (Sun Valley, CA). The Griffins come into the Central Valley battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology lost by Valor Academy (Van Nuys, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Pumas clash with the Magnolia Science Academy Van Nuys Mustang (Van Nuys, CA) in a Central Valley battle, on Monday, September 12. Ivy Academia will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Mustang come into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Discovery (Sylmar, CA).
