The Hornets now possess a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hurley for a non-league game on Monday, September 12. Phelps will meet a Rebels team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Castlewood (Castlewood, VA). The Rebels record now stands at 0-1.

The Cavaliers (0-5) will now prepare for their game against Buckhorn (Buckhorn, KY). The Wildcats enter the non-league game with a 1-1 record.
