The Woodstock Wasps (Woodstock, VT) football edged the host Mill River Minutemen (North Clarendon, VT), 28-21 in Saturday's league bout.
In their next game, the Wasps face the Springfield Cosmos (Springfield, VT) in a League 5 bout, on Friday, September 15. Woodstock will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Cosmos enter the bout with a 1-1 record after their 34-0 league win over Oxbow (Bradford, VT).
The Minutemen (0-2) will now prepare for their bout against Poultney (Poultney, VT). The Blue Devils enter the League 5 bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, Poultney was nudged by Windsor (Windsor, VT), 35-0, in a league bout.
