The Canyon Ridge Riverhawks held off the visiting Wood River Wolverines soccer squad by a margin of 2-1 in Saturday's league match.
The Riverhawks now sport a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Minico for a 4A District IV match on Monday, September 11. Canyon Ridge will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 5-0 league loss to Twin Falls (Twin Falls, ID). The Spartans record now stands at 0-6.
With the loss, Wood River drops to 2-2 on the season. The Wolverines host Jerome (Jerome, ID) to encounter the Tigers in a 4A District IV match on Monday, September 11.
