Deming Wildcats (Deming, NM) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Hatch Valley Bears (Hatch, NM), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats confront the Silver Fighting Colts (Silver City, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 9. Deming will attempt to better on its 4-6 season record. The Fighting Colts enter the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Gadsden (Anthony, NM).
The Bears now have a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chaparral for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 12. Hatch Valley will confront a Lobos team coming off a 11-0 non-league loss to Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM). The Lobos record now stands at 0-4.
