The Branham Bruins volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Pioneer Mustangs to 0 in the Bruins non-league victory on Saturday.

The Bruins now have a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Milpitas for a non-league game on Saturday, September 9. Branham will meet a Trojans team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Los Altos (Los Altos, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 1-0.

The Mustangs (1-3) will now prepare for their game against Piedmont Hills (San Jose, CA). The Pirates enter the non-league game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, Piedmont Hills gained a win over Lincoln (San Jose, CA), 2-1, in a non-league game.
