The Eagle Mustangs volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Mountain View Mavericks to 1 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Saturday.

The Mustangs now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Boise for a game on Tuesday, September 12. Eagle will meet a Brave team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Mountain View (Meridian, ID). The Brave record now stands at 5-0.

The Mavericks (12-4) will now prepare for their game against Nampa (Nampa, ID). The Bulldogs enter the game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Nampa was nudged by Meridian (Meridian, ID), 2-0, in a league game.
