The Payton College Prep Grizzlies held off the host Von Steuben Panthers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Grizzlies now have a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ridgewood for a non-league test on Saturday, September 9. Payton College Prep will confront a Rebels team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Midland (Varna, IL). The Rebels record now stands at 2-0.

The Panthers (1-5) will now prepare for their test against Payton College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Grizzlies enter the test with a 5-3 record.
