Caldwell Redskins (Caldwell, OH) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Wood County Christian Wildcat (Williamstown, WV), 2-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Redskins confront the John Marshall Monarchs (Glen Dale, WV) in a Two Rivers challenge, on Tuesday, September 12. Caldwell will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Monarchs enter the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to St. Clairsville (St. Clairsville, OH).

The Wildcat now possess a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cross Lanes Christian for a WVCAT challenge on Tuesday, September 12.
