Nevada High School Soccer - Sparks nudges McQueen

Sparks Railroaders (Sparks, NV) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting McQueen Lancers (Reno, NV), 1-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Railroaders confront the Hug Hawks (Reno, NV) in a 5A Northern - High Desert challenge, on Wednesday, September 13. Sparks will attempt to move on its 8-0 season record. The Hawks enter the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 7-0 league win over Douglas (Minden, NV).

The Lancers now possess a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Reno for a 5A Northern - High Desert challenge on Wednesday, September 13. McQueen will confront a Huskies team coming off a 4-1 league loss to Reed (Sparks, NV). The Huskies record now stands at 1-4.
