The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Affton Cougars (St. Louis, MO) and the visiting Parkway North Vikings (St. Louis, MO), saw Affton's volleyball squad nip Parkway North by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Affton upgrades its record to 5-4 on the year. The Cougars host Roosevelt (St. Louis, MO) to play the Roughriders in a Class 4 District 3 bout on Monday, September 11. The Roughriders go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Roosevelt lost 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Miller Career Academy (St. Louis, MO)

The Vikings now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Hazelwood Central for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 12. Parkway North will play a Hawks squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Alton (Alton, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 1-1.
