Pleasantville Trojans (Pleasantville, IA) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting Albia Blue Demons (Albia, IA), 2-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Trojans clash with the Wayne Falcons (Corydon, IA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 9. Pleasantville will attempt to advance on its 10-4 season record. The Falcons come into the match with a 2-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Moulton-Udell (Moulton, IA).
With the loss, Albia drops to 9-3 on the campaign. The Blue demons travel to Davis County (Bloomfield, IA) to clash with the Mustangs in a South Central match on Saturday, September 9. The Mustangs come into the match with a record of 3-10. Davis County lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Knoxville (Knoxville, IA)
