In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Alexandria Valley Cubs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Sylacauga Aggies.
The Valley Cubs (18-3) will now prepare for their battle against DeSoto Central (Southaven, MS). The Jaguars come into the non-league battle with a 11-4 record. In their last battle, DeSoto Central achieved victory over Southaven (Southaven, MS), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Aggies clash with the Pell City Panthers (Pell City, AL) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 11. Sylacauga will attempt to advance on its 8-8 season record. The Panthers come into the battle with a 3-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to Mountain Brook (Birmingham, AL).
