In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Ankeny Christian Academy volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons.
The (10-2) will now prepare for their battle against Orient-Macksburg (Orient, IA). The Bulldogs come into the Bluegrass battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Orient-Macksburg went down by Lamoni (Lamoni, IA), 3-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Falcons encounter the Grundy Center Spartans (Grundy Center, IA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 9. Aplington-Parkersburg will attempt to move on its 10-3 season record. The Spartans come into the battle with a 15-0 record after their 3-0 league win over AGWSR (Ackley, IA).
