Wisconsin High School Volleyball - Assumption over Nekoosa

In Saturday's non-league contest, the Assumption Royals (Wisconsin Rapids, WI) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Nekoosa Papermakers (Nekoosa, WI), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Royals face the Edgar Wildcats (Edgar, WI) in a Marawood - South contest, on Tuesday, September 12. Assumption will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 11-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Chippewa Falls (Chippewa Falls, WI).

With the loss, Nekoosa moves to 9-6 on the year. The Papermakers travel to Prentice (Prentice, WI) to face the Buccaneers in a non-league contest on Saturday, September 9. The Buccaneers go into the contest with a record of 11-2. Prentice lost 3-1 in their recent league contest against Phillips (Phillips, WI)
