In Saturday's league battle, the host Rabun County Wildcats volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Athens Christian Eagles.

The Wildcats (8-15) will now prepare for their battle against Athens Christian (Athens, GA). The Eagles come into the 1A Area 8 battle with a 2-22 record. In their last battle, Athens Christian lost by Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy (Winder, GA), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Eagles clash with the Rabun County Wildcats (Tiger, GA) in a 1A Area 8 battle, on Saturday, September 9. Athens Christian will attempt to advance on its 2-24 season record. The Wildcats come into the battle with a 7-14 record after their 3-0 league loss to Tallulah Falls (Tallulah Falls, GA).
