The Lathrop Malemutes volleyball team scored 1 points and limited the host Barrow Whalers to 0 in the Malemutes non-league victory on Saturday.
The Malemutes now have a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Redington for a non-league game on Saturday, September 9. Lathrop will meet a Huskies team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Valdez (Valdez, AK). The Huskies record now stands at 5-3.
The Whalers (4-8) will now prepare for their game against Lathrop (Fairbanks, AK). The Malemutes enter the non-league game with a 9-7 record. In their last game, Lathrop nipped Delta (Delta Junction, AK), 1-0, in a non-league game.
