In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Breckenridge Cowboys volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Battle Lake Battlers.

The Cowboys (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Pelican Rapids (Pelican Rapids, MN). The Vikings come into the Heart O'Lakes battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Pelican Rapids went down by Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton (Glyndon, MN), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Battlers encounter the Parkers Prairie Panthers (Parkers Prairie, MN) in a Little Eight battle, on Tuesday, September 12. Battle Lake will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Panthers come into the battle with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Brandon/Evansville (Brandon, MN).
