The Battle Lake Battlers volleyball team (Battle Lake, MN), was dropped 2-0 in Saturday's league challenge with the host Hillcrest Lutheran Academy Comets (Fergus Falls, MN)

The Comets (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Breckenridge (Breckenridge, MN). The Cowboys enter the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Breckenridge defeated Lake Park-Audubon (Lake Park, MN), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Battlers meet the Parkers Prairie Panthers (Parkers Prairie, MN) in a Little Eight challenge, on Tuesday, September 12. Battle Lake will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Brandon/Evansville (Brandon, MN).
