North Carolina High School Volleyball - Brevard tips Sun Valley

In Saturday's non-league contest, the Brevard Blue Devils (Brevard, NC) volleyball squad nudged the visiting Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the Blue Devils battle the Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC) in a Mountain Foothills Seven 1A/2A contest, on Tuesday, September 12. Brevard will attempt to better on its 11-2 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 2-9 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Freedom (Morganton, NC).

With the loss, Sun Valley moves to 8-7 on the year. The Spartans host Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC) to battle the Cavaliers in a Southern Carolina 4A contest on Tuesday, September 12. The Cavaliers go into the contest with a record of 5-8. Cuthbertson won 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Forest Hills (Marshville, NC)
