With the win, Marion County upgrades its record to 5-6 on the year. The Red Raiders host Fayette County (Fayette, AL) to play the Tigers in a non-league outing on Monday, September 11. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 6-7. Fayette County lost 2-1 in their recent non-league outing against South Lamar (Millport, AL)

The Tigers now own a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Hackleburg for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 9. Brilliant will play a Panthers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Lynn (Lynn, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 9-4.
