The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Wayzata Trojans (Plymouth, MN) and the host Champlin Park Rebels (Champlin, MN), saw Wayzata's volleyball squad nip Champlin Park by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Wayzata upgrades its record to 8-0 on the year. The Trojans travel to Hopkins (Minnetonka, MN) to play the Royals in a Lake bout on Monday, September 11. The Royals go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Hopkins lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Waconia (Waconia, MN)

The Rebels now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lakeville South for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 9. Champlin Park will play a Cougars squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Marshall (Marshall, MN). The Cougars record now stands at 4-1.
