In Saturday's league battle, the visiting Stanley County Buffalos volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Cheyenne-Eagle Butte Braves.
The Buffalos (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Mobridge-Pollock (Mobridge, SD). The Tigers come into the A Region 6 battle with a 6-0 record. In their last battle, Mobridge-Pollock achieved victory over Leola/Frederick (Leola, SD), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Braves clash with the Pine Ridge Thorpes (Pine Ridge, SD) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 14. Cheyenne-Eagle Butte will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Thorpes come into the battle with a 6-0 record after their 3-1 league win over Little Wound (Kyle, SD).
