The Hammond Tornadoes topped the visiting Christ Episcopal School Wildcats volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Tornadoes now have a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Denham Springs for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 12. Hammond will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Parkway (Bossier City, LA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 3-7.

The Wildcats (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Pearl River (Pearl River, LA). The Rebels enter the non-league test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Pearl River gained a win over Hammond (Hammond, LA), 3-1, in a non-league test.
