The Columbus Sailors volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Waterloo East Trojans to 0 in the Sailors non-league victory on Saturday.

The Sailors now have a 8-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Don Bosco for a non-league game on Saturday, September 9. Columbus will meet a Dons team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to New Hampton (New Hampton, IA). The Dons record now stands at 4-4.

The Trojans (3-8) will now prepare for their game against Tripoli (Tripoli, IA). The Panthers enter the non-league game with a 2-5 record. In their last game, Tripoli dropped by Janesville (Janesville, IA), 3-1, in a league game.
