Nebraska High School Volleyball - Sutherland can't hold off Elm Creek

In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Elm Creek Buffaloes volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Sutherland Sailors.

The Buffaloes (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Pleasanton (Pleasanton, NE). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Pleasanton was edged by Central Valley (Greeley, NE), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Sailors clash with the Mullen Broncos (Mullen, NE) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 12. Sutherland will attempt to advance on its 2-6 season record. The Broncos come into the battle with a 2-6 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Arthur County (Arthur, NE).
