The Longhorns now have a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Melrose for a non-league game on Saturday, September 9. Logan will confront a Buffaloes team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Capitan (Capitan, NM). The Buffaloes record now stands at 2-0.

The (0-5) will now prepare for their game against Dexter (Dexter, NM). The Demons enter the non-league game with a 4-4 record. In their last game, Dexter was nudged by Hagerman (Hagerman, NM), 3-2, in a non-league game.
