Oelwein Huskies (Oelwein, IA) fans went home thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Gladbrook-Reinbeck Rebels (Reinbeck, IA), 2-0 in a non-league game.

The Huskies now have a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boone for a non-league game on Saturday, September 9. Oelwein will meet a Toreadors team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Winterset (Winterset, IA). The Toreadors record now stands at 2-8.

The Rebels (7-7) will now prepare for their game against South Hardin (Eldora, IA). The Tigers enter the North Iowa Cedar - West game with a 15-1 record. In their last game, South Hardin gained a win over Central City (Central City, IA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
