In Saturday's non-league contest, the Gothenburg Swedes (Gothenburg, NE) volleyball squad were winner over the host Ogallala Indians (Ogallala, NE), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Swedes battle the St. Patrick's Irish (North Platte, NE) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 12. Gothenburg will attempt to better on its 9-0 season record. The Irish go into the contest with a 3-5 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Bridgeport (Bridgeport, NE).

With the loss, Ogallala moves to 6-1 on the year. The Indians host Ainsworth (Ainsworth, NE) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Saturday, September 9. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a record of 4-2. Ainsworth won 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Chambers/Wheeler Central (Chambers, NE)
