The North Butler Bearcats held off the visiting Hampton-Dumont/CAL volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bearcats now have a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belmond-Klemme for a non-league test on Saturday, September 9. North Butler will confront a Broncos team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Garner-Hayfield/Ventura (Garner, IA). The Broncos record now stands at 5-3.
The (6-8) will now prepare for their test against Iowa Falls-Alden (Iowa Falls, IA). The Cadets enter the non-league test with a 6-9 record. In their last test, Iowa Falls-Alden was nudged by Belmond-Klemme (Belmond, IA), 2-1, in a non-league test.
