The Winston County Yellowjackets held off the host Hatton Hornets volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Yellowjackets now have a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Madison County for a non-league test on Saturday, September 9. Winston County will confront a Tigers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Whitesburg Christian Academy (Huntsville, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 16-7.
The Hornets (1-15) will now prepare for their test against Madison County (Gurley, AL). The Tigers enter the non-league test with a 16-7 record. In their last test, Madison County held off Whitesburg Christian Academy (Huntsville, AL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
