The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Williamsburg Yellowjackets (Williamsburg, KY) and the host Jackson County Generals (McKee, KY), saw Williamsburg's volleyball squad nip Jackson County by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Williamsburg upgrades its record to 10-6 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to Oneida Baptist Institute (Oneida, KY) to play the Mountaineers in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 9. The Mountaineers go into the bout with a record of 0-5. Oneida Baptist Institute lost 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Red Bird (Beverly, KY)

The Generals now own a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to North Laurel for a District 49 bout on Monday, September 11.
