The New West Charter Eagles volleyball team (Los Angeles, CA), was edged 1-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Le Lycee Lions (Los Angeles, CA)

With the win, Le Lycee upgrades its record to 6-3 on the year. The Lions travel to Los Angeles CES (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Unicorns in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 9. The Unicorns go into the bout with a record of 7-3. Los Angeles CES lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Taft (Woodland Hills, CA)

The Eagles now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Middle College for a Crosstown bout on Monday, September 11. New West Charter will play a Cougars squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Foshay (Los Angeles, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-1.
