The Lincoln Lynx (Council Bluffs, IA) volleyball nudged the host Waukee Warriors (Waukee, IA), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, Lincoln upgrades its record to 6-8 on the year. The Lynx travel to Oskaloosa (Oskaloosa, IA) to face the Indians in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 9. The Indians go into the outing with a record of 6-6. Oskaloosa won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Linn-Mar (Marion, IA)

The Warriors now own a 6-11 record. They play next when they travel to Dowling Catholic for a CIML - Metro outing on Tuesday, September 12. Waukee will face a Maroons squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Grinnell (Grinnell, IA). The Maroons record now stands at 9-2.
