Wisconsin High School Volleyball - Turner over Monroe

The Turner Trojans (Beloit, WI) volleyball overcame the visiting Monroe Cheesemakers (Monroe, WI), 2-0 in Saturday's league outing.

With the win, Turner upgrades its record to 8-5 on the year. The Trojans travel to New Glarus (New Glarus, WI) to face the Glarner Knights in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 9. The Glarner Knights come into the battle with a record of 5-3. New Glarus won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Wisconsin Heights (Mazomanie, WI)

Next, the Cheesemakers clash with the Whitewater Whippets (Whitewater, WI) in a Rock Valley battle, on Tuesday, September 12. Monroe will attempt to advance on its 0-8 season record. The Whippets come into the battle with a 3-14 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to St. Mary's Springs (Fond du Lac, WI).
