The Xavier Saints volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host North Scott Lancers to 1 in the Saints non-league victory on Saturday.

The Saints now have a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Solon for a non-league game on Thursday, September 14. Xavier will meet a Spartans team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Center Point-Urbana (Center Point, IA). The Spartans record now stands at 11-7.

The Lancers (7-1) will now prepare for their game against Davenport West (Davenport, IA). The Falcons enter the Mississippi game with a 1-9 record. In their last game, Davenport West was nudged by North Scott (Eldridge, IA), 2-0, in a league game.
