The Eagles (8-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Sam Houston (Lake Charles, LA). The Broncos enter the non-league challenge with a 10-0 record. In their last challenge, Sam Houston defeated St. Louis Catholic (Lake Charles, LA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Doves meet the Dutchtown Griffins (Geismar, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 9. St. Scholastica will attempt to move on its 4-9 season record. The Griffins enter the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Metairie Park Country Day (Metairie, LA).
