The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the South Central Calhoun Titans (Lake City, IA) and the visiting Ridge View Raptors (Holstein, IA), saw South Central Calhoun's volleyball squad nip Ridge View by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, South Central Calhoun upgrades its record to 16-8 on the year. The Titans travel to Fort Dodge (Fort Dodge, IA) to play the Dodgers in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 16. The Dodgers go into the bout with a record of 7-3. Fort Dodge won 3-0 in their recent league test against Mason City (Mason City, IA)

The Raptors (10-2) will now prepare for their test against Odebolt Arthur Battle Creek Ida Grove (Ida Grove, IA). The Falcons enter the Western Valley - North test with a 4-7 record. In their last test, Odebolt Arthur Battle Creek Ida Grove held off Okoboji (Milford, IA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
