The Torres Toros held off the host Sunnyside Wildcats volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Toros now have a 3-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dos Palos for a non-league test on Monday, September 11. Torres will confront a Broncos team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Gustine (Gustine, CA). The Broncos record now stands at 6-4.

The Wildcats (1-9) will now prepare for their test against McLane (Fresno, CA). The Highlanders enter the CMAC/NYL test with a 2-10 record. In their last test, McLane was nudged by Torres (Madera, CA), 3-1, in a league test.
