The Flying Eagles (7-3) will now prepare for their challenge against George Washington (Charleston, WV). The Patriots come into the Mountain State challenge with a 7-3 record. In their last challenge, George Washington went down by Shady Spring (Shady Spring, WV), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Generals encounter the Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV) in a Cardinal challenge, on Tuesday, September 12. Winfield will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Liberty (Glen Daniel, WV).
