Nansemond River Warriors (Suffolk, VA) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Norfolk Christian Ambassadors (Norfolk, VA), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Nansemond River improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Warriors host Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA) to face the Hornets in a Southeastern test on Thursday, September 19. The Hornets go into the test with a record of 0-1.

The Ambassadors now own a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grassfield for a non-league test on Thursday, September 12. Norfolk Christian will face a Grizzlies squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 4-0.
